Joel B. Edman, M.D. received his medical degree from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University, Bronx, New York. He completed three years of Pediatric Residency Training at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Dr. Edman has been with Middletown Pediatrics since 1981. Dr. Edman is on the attending staff of Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch, where he participates in the education of Pediatric resident physicians and medical students. Dr. Edman is on the staff of Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank, where he is the Chief of the Department of Pediatrics. Dr. Edman has been active in the New Jersey Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics, having served as a councilor on their executive committee for several years.
Dr. Edman is married, and has two children.

Michael S. Markoff, M.D. was born in Brooklyn, New York, and raised on Long Island, New York. He attended medical school at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, and completed a 3-year Pediatrics residency at North Shore University Hospital now part of the North Shore-LIJ Hospital System in Manhasset, New York. Dr. Markoff is board certified in Pediatrics and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics (F.A.A.P.). He is Chairman of the Pediatric Quality Improvement Committee as well as Chairman of the Hospital Wide Patient Safety Committee at Riverview Hospital. He is on staff at both Riverview Hospital in Red Bank and Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch. He has been involved in the teaching program at Monmouth over the years and has been active in many committees for the residency program at the Hospital.
Dr. Markoff is married, has two children and resides in Middletown.
