Dr. Julie Tsimring was born in Ukraine and raised in Monmouth County. She completed her undergraduate studies at Montclair State University where she graduated Summa Cum Laude with a degree in Community Health Education and Jewish American Studies. She earned her medical degree at Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine. Following medical school, she completed a residency in General Pediatrics at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, as well as a fellowship in Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine/Osteopathic Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine at Morristown Medical Center. She is board certified in both specialties, which lends to a unique wholistic approach when treating patients.
Dr. Tsimring is dedicated to lifelong learning and attends numerous continuing education courses throughout the year. She is proficient in all aspects of general pediatrics with special interest in breastfeeding medicine, behavioral health, and the mind-body connection. In addition, she has been providing lactation counseling throughout her years of practice and is currently working on completing the coursework for an IBCLC certification.
Her favorite thing about being a pediatrician is developing lifelong relationships with her patients and their parents. She lives in Fair Haven with her husband and three children, and spends her free time enjoying the outdoors, gardening, and cooking.
